My favorite garden is Chanticleer Garden in Wayne, PA. I try to visit at least once a year, and have been known to take clients to see its wonderful planting combinations and whimsical designs. Truly magical, and different every year and in every season. My latest book of photographs from Chanticleer was published in November 2009.

The Garden Letter is a treasure for discriminating gardeners. Published by Bonnie Blodgett in St. Paul, MN, this quarterly publication won a Art of Garden Communication Award from the Garden Writers Association after just one year in print. Bonnie is the consummate gardener and an entertaining and accomplished writer.

Last but not least, The Garden Conservancy is an organization that deserves every gardener's support. Its Open Days program supports its efforts to assist groups across the country to preserve gardens of national significance. Check its website to see gardens that are open in your area next year, and mark your calendars.
